Trauma Sensitive Yoga, On Your Terms

A simple conversation can be the first step.

Move at your own pace. Stay in control. Come back to your body safely.

Your body has been through some -ish.
And for a lot of us, traditional yoga doesn’t feel safe.
Too fast. Too much touch. Too many rules. Too much “just breathe through it.”

Trauma-Sensitive Yoga is a different kind of practice.
It’s not about how deep you can go in a pose—it’s about how deeply you can reconnect with you.

This Is Yoga With Zero Pressure & Total Choice

This Is Yoga With Zero Pressure & Total Choice

Trauma sensitive yoga (sometimes called TCTSY—Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga) is built specifically for people who’ve experienced trauma, anxiety, dissociation, or just feeling disconnected from their own body.

There’s:

  • No hands-on adjustments (ever)

  • No “right way” to do the pose

  • No expectation to perform or push yourself

What there is:

  • Choice

  • Curiosity

  • A space to explore movement on your terms

Why This Matters For Healing

Why This Matters For Healing

Trauma can leave you feeling like your body isn’t a safe place to be. Like your body belongs to the past—or isn’t yours at all.

This practice helps you slowly rebuild that connection. Not by forcing it. Not by digging up trauma. But by gently offering options and letting you decide what feels right.

You don’t have to talk about your trauma.
You don’t have to explain why you’re here.
You just get to show up—as you are—and move in a way that feels good (or at least not harmful) in your body today.

This Practice Is For You If…

This Practice Is For You If…

  • You’ve felt unsafe or unwelcome in typical yoga spaces

  • You struggle with anxiety, PTSD, dissociation, or body disconnection

  • You’re in therapy and want a body-based complement to your work

  • You’re looking for a calm, no-pressure space to just be

  • You want to feel more grounded, more present, and more like yourself

Trauma-sensitive yoga isn’t here to fix you. It’s here to give you back to yourself—bit by bit, breath by breath.

Whether you’re dealing with trauma, burnout, disconnection, or just trying to feel something again—this practice offers a way back. Gently. Respectfully.

Without pressure.

A Typical Session Is:

  • Slow, simple movements

  • Options offered, never prescribed

  • No background music or forced “zen” vibes

  • Just you, your mat, and space to move how you want

This isn’t about flexibility or flow—it’s about freedom.

You don’t have to “get it right.” You don’t have to stay in a pose.
You can always say no, change your mind, or take a break. That’s part of the practice.

I’m not here to fix you—because you’re not broken.
I’m here to help you move forward, take your power back, and live from a place of healing—not hurt.

If you’re ready to do the work—with someone who gets it—I’ve got you.

Messy. Tired. Curious. Numb.

Come as you are.
