But more than that—it should feel clear, transparent, and aligned with you.

Whether you're here for therapy, yoga, or both, this page lays it all out so you know what to expect—no guessing, no weird vibes.

This isn’t a fitness class. This is nervous system work. Breath, movement, and presence tailored to support your healing from trauma, stress, or just the everyday weight of life.

This is your time. We’ll move at your pace, go deep when it feels safe, and build the kind of connection where you don’t have to filter or shrink who you are.

Be In Your Body yoga, based on Trauma Centered Trauma Sensitive Yoga, is a gentle, choice-centered practice designed for people who generally feel disconnected from their bodies. This is a practice about noticing, choosing, and meeting your body in a way that feels supportive. You're invited to move slowly, listen inward, and build a relationship with your body that feels grounded, trusted, and your own.

I show up to this work with honesty, compassion, and deep respect for your autonomy.

I won’t ask you to retell your trauma unless you want to.

I won’t rush your process—but I won’t sugarcoat things either.

I believe that healing doesn’t mean changing who you are—it means coming home to yourself:
To your strength.
Your boundaries.
Your voice.
And the parts of you that were buried along the way.

This is a space where you don’t have to hide, shrink, or translate yourself. I practice from an LGBTQ+ affirming and anti-oppressive lens, which means I’m always working to make this a space where all of you is welcome—including your identities, your history, your culture, and the ways you’ve had to navigate a world that doesn’t always make room for you.

If you’ve ever been told you’re “too much,” “too sensitive,” or “not enough,” this space was made for you.

You’ve done what you needed to do to survive. Now it’s time to stop surviving quietly—and start living boldly.

I currently accept the following insurance providers: Blue Cross Blue Shield, Anthem, Aetna, and Medicare.

At Serenity Rose, I believe healing is accessible and also deeply personal. This is why I’ve chosen to work with select insurance plans while also protecting the flexibility to provide the kind of care trauma healing often requires.

If I am in-network with your plan, I am happy to use your benefits to ensure your mental health care is more affordable.

Why I don’t accept every insurance plan.

I believe healing deserves more than checking boxes.

Insurance can be an incredible resource for accessing therapy, but it also comes with requirements. Most plans require a mental health diagnosis, may limit the frequency of treatment they cover, and sometimes define what they consider “medical necessity.”

By partnering with a limited number of insurance companies, I am able to balance access with quality of care. It allows me to spend less time navigating administrative requirements and more time doing what matters most - building a relationship where you feel secure, understood and supported as you heal.

What if I’m Out-of-Network?

All insurance companies offer out-of-network benefits, and I am happy to guide you in how to access them.

To start, I am able to provide a superbill (a fancy word for a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance). Many clients receive partial reimbursement, though benefits vary by plan.

If you are unsure what your insurance covers or have questions about payment options, please do not hesitate to reach out. We can walk through options together in order to make a decision that feels supportive to you.

Life happens. I get it. But please know that sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged the full fee.

Why? Because your spot is yours—I set aside that time just for you, and short-notice cancellations mean someone else who needed support doesn’t get that time either.

If something unexpected comes up, reach out. I’m human too, and we’ll handle it with compassion and clear boundaries.
